These packages can be used as guidelines to tailor our service to fit your specific needs. To keep the base price at a good value, the packages don’t include any of the options that you may wish to include. You can add items until you have only the ones that suit you.
Please inquire about availability of your selected date.
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure the date. The balance is due before the wedding, usually paid at a consultation meeting. Prices include shipping but not inordinate travel or extra costs. Photographer retains the copyright of all photographic imagery and the right to use photographs in portfolios and tasteful advertisement.
Additional Photographer :
Unique to Alpen Glow Images, all weddings will include a 2nd photographer. This is usually my wife, Maria. You will receive another angle of view along with a different perspective. There is a real advantage in being able to be in two places at one time!
High Resolution DVD:
This contains the high resolution enhanced version of the original Raw capture digital files. This will allow you to make enlargements of any of the photographic Images. Each wedding package comes with the edited photographs recorded on a DVD. There is a fair amount of postproduction work and touch up preformed to these Images. You will find them very attractive and superior to the unaltered low resolution files provided by others. You also have the right to reproduce and distribute the copyrighted Images.
Proof Albums:
These very attractive Proof Albums are well done. They contain the enhanced version of all the edited select Images. There will be a full color first page of the bride and groom. Depending on the number of proof pages, to make the page count come out even, there will be either 2 or 3 more, full portrait pages. The proof shots are displayed with the same four digit reference number that is on the DVD. This makes it very easy and efficient to find a particular photo. It also tells the whole story and may be added.
DVD Slideshow:
A home theater experience set to your music while zooming and panning the Images to make them come alive. This is an amazing treatment that must be seen to believe! Relive the whole wedding experience just like you were there. It is especially appealing to someone who missed the wedding.
Website Posting of Photographs:
This will be a password protected site, set to music, available to anyone you invite for 60 days. You and your guests may now order prints from the internet. The entire edited shoot will be available to be viewed with the ability to order prints in Color, B&W or Sepia Toned. There is also the added advantage of people being able to look at shots taken of themselves that they might not otherwise get to see.
Engagement Portrait Session:
This usually takes place at several of the scenic locations around Jackson Hole. In addition to a 5x7 print of your choice, in an 8x10 matted stand up frame; a CD is included with the resulting photos. These are suitable for newspaper announcements & wedding invitations.
Prints:
You are free to make prints right off your DVD. But you may wish for us to custom print the more important Images. This is where our dedication and skill become apparent. We will further enhance your selected Images. This retouching of blemishes and other imperfections is included in the price of the prints. Color, B&W, or Sepia Toned Prints (same price) are available.

Wedding Albums:
We have an excellent source for “coffee table” and flush mount photo albums. A descriptive text does not convey the innovative design and practical beauty of these albums. If you have not seen a collage style album, you are in for a surprise!
Haven’t even given a wedding album any thought yet? Don’t despair. I will send you to our supplier’s website that will show what is available.
Pre-Wedding Consultation meeting:
This is highly recommended and included in all packages. A meeting of the photographer with the bride & groom to get to know each other and to develop a time table, a shot list of important items and to discuss any concerns that need to be addressed.
Edit:
Less is more! We do a tight professional edit. We do not advertise large amounts of photographs, believing in quality over quantity. This will keep you from wasting your time going back and forth between two similar shots. Trust us. We will not throw out the good ones.
B&W & Sepia Toned Renditions:
About 10-15% of the color Images will be converted to either B&W or Sepia Toned, your choice. There will also be several of these Images where some selected color will be added back in. Usually the flowers, tie, or some other feature that makes an attractive two toned Image.
Alpen Glow Images has a distinctive creative style characterized by renditions that are warm and luminous. We are always on the lookout for opportunities where natural available light will work best and take advantage of these situations. We know from experience what it takes to capture and deliver fine Images. Our B&W and Sepia Toned Images are classic and timeless.
